Last updated: March 30, 2026
1. Overview
These terms govern the licensing and use of Grimweld Engine, a proprietary 3D engine software published by Grimweld Studio ("the Publisher").
2. License
Grimweld Engine is licensed, not sold. Full license terms are detailed in the License Agreement provided upon purchase.
3. Pricing
License fees are communicated upon request. Existing licensees are bound by terms active at the time of purchase.
4. Payment
All prices are in EUR, excluding applicable taxes. Payment is due before access is granted.
5. Right of Withdrawal
As a digital product with immediate access to source code, the right of withdrawal does not apply once access is granted (Article L221-28 Code de la consommation).
6. Intellectual Property
Grimweld Engine, including all source code, shaders, tools, and documentation, remains the exclusive property of the Publisher. The license does not transfer ownership.
7. Confidentiality
The licensee agrees not to disclose, share, or redistribute the engine source code. Violation may result in immediate termination and legal action.
8. Limitation of Liability
The engine is provided "as is". The Publisher is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages. Maximum liability is limited to the amount paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
The Publisher may terminate a license upon breach. The licensee must then destroy all copies of the source code.
10. Applicable Law
French law applies. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts of Nanterre, France.
